Abstract

This is an experience report of the UNILA Feminist Library Extension Project, developed in the UNILA Social Service course in partnership with the Praia Vermelha Feminist Library Extension Program. Its main objective was to understand Marxist feminism as a challenge to face the attacks and advances of the conservative values of hetero-patriarchal-bourgeois Society, equipping social workers and students to act coherently and committed to the ethical-political Project of human emancipation. The activities were also open to UNILA’s internal Community and external Community, since the topic involves women in general. To this end, it included the formation of a study group, lectures, debates and the installation of a physical library in partnership with the Reference Center for Assistance to Women Victims of Violence
