EDUCATIONAL TERRITORIES OF PRIORITY INTERVENTION (PORTUGAL) AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SOCIAL SERVICE

Abstract

This article presents a performance of social work in schools linked to the government program “Priority Intervention Educational Territories” (TEIP) in Portugal. professional category and the teip program, with the aim of demonstrating the potentials and obstacles of social work in teip schools. You don't know what is the biggest obstacle to social work performance in the program if it shapes the social worker contractual arrangements, which have a short time limit in each school, resulting in disruption of the intervention process and bonding with students, family and community served by the program.
