Abstract

This article seeks to address the experience of the initiative “Escola no Acervo”, from the Project Diffusion and Heritage Education of FGV CPDOC, with the women’s archives of the collection contemporary to the Vargas Era. To this end, the personal files of Almerinda Farias Gama, Alzira Vargas, and Anna Amélia de Queiroz were used to address the relationship between women and politics in the 1930s. Thus, the present article seeks to bring discussions about women's archives in Brazil through issues such as their access, diffusion and educational uses of the collections.
