Abstract

The occupational segregation built around the sexual division of labor, in France, in the XVIII century, interferes with employment opportunities for women in the labor market, until today, in the case of Brazil, isn’t different. Although the discourse established about the sexual division of labor in public spaces is predominantly male and in private spaces, female, we highlight that women have always been present in public spaces, performing the most diverse functions. So, this article aims to understand how gender technologies, has made visible and influenced women to transgress and occupy professions once historically and socially granted to men, as is the case with the movie Boi Neon.
