AMPLIAÇÃO DA JORNADA ESCOLAR NA CONTEMPORANEIDADE: PROPOSTA FORMATIVA E METODOLÓGICA EM VOGA
Abstract
The extension of the school day is commonly seen as welfare or associated with the idea of school reinforcement for students with educational and social problems.It is necessary to disseminate research that points to the intentional character of school education, which lacks didactic-pedagogical planning. In the case of this work, the object of investigation is the Novo Mais Educação Program, established in 2016 with the aim of improving the performance of students in Portuguese and Mathematics through full-time or extended-day education. Taking into account the above issues, this work sought to investigate the foundations, conditions and ways of carrying out the teaching proposed by the Novo Mais Educação Program. Specifically, the proposal was based on investigating the purposes of the Program; raise the proposal regarding spaces, structure, times and subjects; and understand the proposed methods and embodiments. Therefore, through a qualitative approach, the study had authors who had theoretical production of this topic of study, as well as normative-legal and pedagogical documents about the Program. The studies carried out indicated that the Novo Mais Educação Program proposes a precarious education for students with social and educational problems, disregarding the need for pedagogical training for the proposed objectives.
